Subcontract Agreement
A plain-English subcontract between a contractor and a subcontractor for one package, labour-only or supply-and-fix: the parties with their CIS and VAT details, the package and any design, price basis, programme and the delay damages choice, payment dates, retention, insurance, warranties and adjudicator on the particulars pages; then sixteen numbered terms — attendances in a who-provides table, delay and extensions, variations and daywork, payment and pay less notices, interest and suspension, CIS and the VAT reverse charge, materials, inspection, hold points and design, defects, CDM 2015 and Building Regulations duties with the health and safety conditions incorporated, insurance, employment status and the right to work terms that apply from 1 October 2026, liability, termination including what insolvency law allows, adjudication at any time — with no pay-when-paid term.
