We use as few cookies as we can, and we ask before using any that are optional.

Strictly necessary
These do not need your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), because the site or the checkout cannot work without them.
- On every visit, our host Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary bot-management cookie (
__cf_bm), which expires within 30 minutes. - At checkout, our payment provider Paddle sets cookies that are required to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These are set only when you open the checkout.
- Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage
(
kd-cookie-consent), so we do not ask you again on every page. We ask again after a year, or sooner if we add an advertising tag.
Optional: Google Ads and the Meta Pixel
We advertise on Google and on Facebook. If you choose Accept, we load two advertising tags, and both set cookies:
- The Google Ads tag tells Google which of our Google adverts brought you to the site.
- The Meta Pixel tells Meta, which runs Facebook, which of our Facebook adverts brought you to the site.
If you buy something, each also receives the order value and the Paddle transaction reference, so we can see which adverts lead to sales. Google's and Meta's own privacy policies explain how they use this information.
Neither tag loads until you accept. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, neither loads and nothing is sent to Google or Meta.
We do not use analytics cookies, and we do not use any other advertising or social media tracking.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or the button below, to accept or reject at any time. If you reject after accepting, the tags stop loading and we remove the Google and Meta cookies that our site can reach.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary checkout cookies will stop you completing a purchase, but will not otherwise affect your use of the site.
