Who writes these documents

KubitDocs is run by Mike Catley, Managing Director of Koddis Construction Ltd — a UK main contractor working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment, including live NHS hospital estates.

Every document here comes out of that work: the same permits, registers and method statements we use on our own projects, stripped of client and project detail and rewritten so any contractor can use them.

That also means we sit on the other side of the process from most of our customers. We receive subcontractor RAMS. We are the ones who send them back when they are not good enough. These documents are written from that side of the desk.

We do not claim our templates make you compliant, because no template can. Compliance comes from a competent person adapting the document to your site and completing it properly. What we give you is a starting point built to the standard a principal contractor actually accepts, with the law behind every section cited so you can check it.
