Provisions the documents cite: art 3 and the Schedule (persons prescribed for the purposes of Employment Rights Act 1996 s.43F and the matters for each), including the Health and Safety Executive
What it requires
Prescribes the persons, and the descriptions of matters for each, to whom a worker may make a protected disclosure under Employment Rights Act 1996 s.43F; applies to disclosures made on or after 1 October 2014. The Health and Safety Executive is prescribed for matters relating to the industries and work activities for which HSE is the enforcing authority under the Health and Safety (Enforcing Authority) Regulations 1998, about the health and safety of individuals at work or of the public arising from work activities, and for its functions under the Network and Information Systems Regulations 2018. A whistleblowing policy should name HSE for site health and safety concerns and point to the Order for other regulators; the Schedule has been amended many times, so the current list is the revised text, not a copy.

How this entry is kept current
- Citation status: read in full at the primary source.
- Watched by: legislation.gov.uk "Changes to Legislation" tab — not just the text view.
- Source last checked by the automated scan: not yet — first scan pending.
Every source is re-checked monthly and the result is published in the scan log. A change that alters what a document should say raises a revision, and past buyers of that document are told.
The 1 document that cite it
Every KubitDocs document prints its statutory basis on the form itself, so the person signing can verify the citation rather than take our word for it.
