Once a month an automated scan fetches every public source on the register and flags any page that has changed. Each flag is then assessed against the documents that cite the instrument, and the assessment is recorded here — including the months in which nothing changed, because a record of looking is the point.
An assessment is drafted by the scheduled review and confirmed by a director of the business before a revision is raised. Where a source is paid for or refuses automated access, the log says so and the check is made by hand.
