Provisions the documents cite: the 16 core criteria elements
What it requires
The Safety Schemes in Procurement Forum's core health and safety criteria that SSIP member schemes assess against, for SSIP Approved non-construction organisations and CDM dutyholders. The elements are health and safety policy and organisation; arrangements; competent advice; training and information; individual qualifications and experience; monitoring, audit and review; workforce involvement; accident reporting and enforcement action; sub-contracting and consulting procedures; risk assessment and safe systems of work; co-operating with others and co-ordinating work; welfare provision; hazard elimination and risk control (designers and principal designers); principal designer duties; principal contractor duties; and fleet operations. It is not law.

How this entry is kept current
- Citation status: cited from the publisher's own page for it.
- Watched by: SSIP Forum page — check the updated date at each monthly horizon scan.
- Source last checked by the automated scan: not yet — first scan pending.
Every source is re-checked monthly and the result is published in the scan log. A change that alters what a document should say raises a revision, and past buyers of that document are told.
The 3 documents that cite it
Every KubitDocs document prints its statutory basis on the form itself, so the person signing can verify the citation rather than take our word for it.
