BS EN 1263-2:2014 — Temporary works equipment. Safety nets. Safety requirements for the positioning limits

Provisions the documents cite: whole standard — positioning to the manufacturer's instruction manual, catching width, fall heights, fixings and net deformation

What it requires

Safety requirements for positioning safety nets in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual and the product specification, and for testing system S, T, U and V nets to BS EN 1263-1: the instruction manual, catching width, fall heights and the catching widths they require, the positioning of system nets and their fixings, and deformation of the net. Small system S nets (listed as less than 35 m² and 5.0 m on the shortest side) are outside its scope. Scope as summarised on the publisher and distributor listings; the standard is paywalled and was not read.

How this entry is kept current

  • Citation status: cited from the publisher's own page for it.
  • Watched by: BSI product record — check status at each monthly horizon scan (Under Review).
  • Source last checked by the automated scan: not yet — first scan pending.

Every source is re-checked monthly and the result is published in the scan log. A change that alters what a document should say raises a revision, and past buyers of that document are told.
